How do you pronounce "Beau Jo's"?

It’s pronounced “Bo-Jo’s” — like the name Bo, followed by Jo’s. Once you know it, it just rolls off the tongue!

Do you have a salad bar?

We no longer have a salad bar at this location. We do offer fresh salads from the menu, though – a great complement to any mountain pie.

When are you opening a Beau Jo's in Colorado Springs / Kansas / Texas?

We don’t have any current plans to expand to new markets, but we’d love to keep you in the loop! Follow us on social media for the latest news and announcements.

Do I have to pay for parking? Do you validate?

Yes, paid parking is required in Idaho Springs, including the back lot. We are not able to offer validation, so plan to pay regardless of where you park.

Do you take reservations? Do you have call-ahead seating?

We accept reservations for parties of 20 or more. For smaller groups, we seat on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins are always welcome!

How long is the wait right now? How busy will you be this afternoon?

Wait times vary depending on the time of day and season. Idaho Springs can get busy, especially on weekends and ski season days. Your best bet is to call us directly at +1 (303) 963-4298 for a real-time estimate before you head over.

Is the bar open seating?

Yes! The bar top is open seating – no reservation needed. It’s a great option if you’re flying solo or just want to grab a quick bite and a drink.

Where is your honey from?

Our honey is locally sourced from Colorado. We use it as a classic finishing touch on our pizza crust. Try it if you haven’t!

Can I order ahead for dine-in?

At this time, we don’t offer order-ahead for dine-in. Online ordering is available for takeout and delivery, though. Visit our order page to get started.

Is that a real mine shaft?

It’s a nod to Idaho Springs’ rich mining history, but it’s not a functional original mine shaft. The decor throughout the restaurant celebrates the town’s gold mining roots – there’s a lot of local history in these walls!

Do you allow dogs?

We love pups, but dogs are not permitted inside the restaurant. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome to join you on the patio.

Is the crust stuffed?

No, our crust isn’t stuffed – but don’t let that fool you. Our thick, hand-braided Colorado-style crust is legendary on its own, and we recommend finishing it off with a drizzle of honey or a dip in our housemade sauces.

How far is Denver International Airport from here?

Idaho Springs is approximately one hour from Denver International Airport (DEN), making us a perfect first or last stop on your Colorado trip!

How long does it take to make a pizza?

Plan for about 15–20 minutes from order to table, though timing can vary during our busiest hours. Good things take time – we think it’s worth the wait.

Is this the original Beau Jo's location?

Close! The very first Beau Jo’s actually opened just across the street. This Idaho Springs restaurant has been a cornerstone of the brand since the 1970s and remains the heart of the Beau Jo’s story.

Do you brew your own beer?

We don’t brew our own beer, but we pour a great selection of Colorado craft beers and other drinks to pair with your mountain pie.
