Beau Jo's Gold Hunt

Events

Our Founder Pete Zapigh (pronounced Pete za-pie), a rather obscure French fur trapper of humble, & indeed, rather questionable origin, first appeared in the Idaho Springs area at about the time of the Colorado gold rush. How he got here is a matter of continuing speculation. Fortunately for the devotees of Beau Jo’s Pizza, Pete possessed a somewhat less than working knowledge of natural history, & his many foolish attempts to capture a woolly mammoth (an animal for which there was little demand & even less supply) were never successful. After several years of fruitless effort, Zapigh decided that perhaps a new career was in order. Pete then emerged with a new Old-world recipe for an Italian delight, which would reshape the waistline of pizza lovers of the world forever, & Beau Jo’s mountain pie was created.

Unfortunately, Pete Zapigh was taken too soon from our world, after his death it was rumored Pete hid some of his treasure during his mountain adventures. While we went searching to uncover old records to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, a treasure map & clues were found stating Pete Zapigh did in fact hide an ounce of Gold! Beau Jo’s has decided to post the clues weekly to help you all to find his hidden ounce of gold.

April 1st through May 31st Beau Jo’s is inviting you to join us to hunt for Pete’s hidden gold. Follow us on social media each week as we release pieces of the secrets Pete left behind. Clues will be released via social media (Facebook and Instagram) on Fridays, with the exception of the first clue which will be on Saturday, April 1st.

Come and visit any Beau Jo’s locations* Monday- Thursday to receive next week’s clue before it reaches the public.

I love Beau Jo's! The honey with the crust is absolutely amazing. Gotta love a mountain pie. They also have cream cheese as a topping, and if you've never tried it, you MUST. It's incredible. I highly recommend this Beau Jo's. We went on a weekend and it wasn't too busy. The staff was great, and it was a great night out.
